The Stars of Dance Chicago invite you to this new concept in dance
education with an eye on performance. Be part of the Dance Chicago 2004
New Talent Workshop! You will study with the Stars of Dance Chicago
including: Paul Christiano (Chicago's best
dancer/choreographer in 2003), Mathew Prescott (former dancer Joffrey
Ballet), Elijah Gibson and Eddy Ocampo (former dancers Gus Giordano
Jazz Dance Chicago), Martin "Tre" Dumas III (Artistic Director of M.A.D.D.
Rhythms), Suavé (Artistic Director of Hip Hop ConnXion), Anthony
Peyla (former dancer River North Chicago Dance Company), Laura Gates
(dancer Melissa Thodos & Dancers), Glenn Leslie (dancer Jump Rhythm
Jazz Project), and Altin Naska (Director of Foreign Exchange and Dance
Chicago 2004 New Talent Workshop).
Not only will you have the opportunity to study with these "stars",
during the evening, you can purchase tickets and attend a Dance Chicago
performance and watch them live on stage.
Want to be on stage yourself?
As part of the workshop, you will participate in choreographic sessions.
Dancers from these sessions will be selected to appear in Dance Chicago
in the "New Talent Workshop" piece(s) on Nov. 16, 2004 during Dance
Chicago's Dance Slam program!

Registration Guidelines

~ In order to be eligible to perform; registration for the ENTIRE
workshop is required.
~ If selected; dancer will be required to pay extra $50
production fee and will be required to bring (for ballet) a black
leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes, and/or (for jazz)
black jazz pants and black jazz shoes.
~ Registration Fees are non-refundable... no exceptions
