Established in 1999 by Artistic Director Kim Geung Soo, the Kim Geung Soo Ballet Company prides itself on its diverse and innovative repertoire. In addition to the classical and contemporary styles of ballet, the company integrates its Korean culture and influence into its choreography. Having performed in Asia, Europe and the United States, the company is dedicated to the education that comes from the cross-cultural experience of sharing art. Formally the Artstic Director of the Korean National Ballet Company, Kim Geung Soo is a professor of dance at the prestigious Chung Ang Universtity in Seoul, South Korea. Chicago Premiere!
