Special guests this year include the Dance Chicago premiers
of the great Moscow Ballet, Houston Metropolitan Dance Company, New
York’s Ajkun Ballet Theatre,
and South Korea’s Kim Geung-soo Ballet Company, as well as the polished
works of Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago, LehrerDance New York, World
Champion Trinity Irish Dancers, Concert Dance
Inc. and other unexpected surprises.

Moscow Ballet “Charming, vibrant, beautiful and refined” - New York Times. Moscow Ballet, an internationally acclaimed ballet company featuring over 100 classically trained Russian dancers, is expanding it's extensive repertoire with the addition of the lavishly produced Sleeping Beauty. The premier of Sleeping Beauty accompanies the 16th annual tour of the Great Russian Nutcracker taking these extraordinary dancers to more than 70 cities across the United States and Canada.
Ajkun Ballet Theater The company draws rave reviews internationally from romantic and bravura ballets to innovative contemporary creations. Chicago premiere!
Kim Geung-soo Ballet Company Established in 1999 by Artistic Director Kim Geung Soo, the Kim Geung Soo Ballet Company prides itself on its diverse and innovative repertoire. In addition to the classical and contemporary styles of ballet, the company integrates its Korean culture and influence into its choreography. Having performed in Asia, Europe and the United States, the company is dedicated to the education that comes from the cross-cultural experience of sharing art. Formally the Artstic Director of the Korean National Ballet Company, Kim Geung Soo is a professor of dance at the prestigious Chung Ang Universtity in Seoul, South Korea. Chicago Premiere!
