THIS IS DANCE CHICAGO’S FIRST PERFORMANCE IN OUR HOME THEATRE SINCE 2008!


1. All works performed in Dance Chicago 2011 are eligible. To have those works considered for the 2/14/2012 concert you must e-mail john@dancechicago.com by 1/15/2012.


2. If you have a new work to submit, use the application below (applying is FREE!).


3. All groups selected will receive a guaranteed performance fee.


4. In addition to the performance fee, companies will receive a percentage of each ticket sold via their dedicated discount code (pre-sale online only).


5. Pieces that are chosen for “Dances from the Heart” can rehearse at the Athenaeum Theatre / Dance Chicago Studios for FREE.


6. Groups selected for “Dances from the Heart” will be among those eligible for the additional paid performance "The Best of Dance Chicago” in Orland Park on 3/31/2012.


7. You will be notified of your acceptance for the “Dances from the Heart” concert by 1/22/2012.

Your company name and work titles must clearly be identified on the link or dvd

After you press submit >> You must mail the dvd (if you are not furnishing links) and a photo CD - see below - with each work clearly labeled in the exact order as listed on the application.
